Location: Starbase 400 - School
Timeline: Concurrent with Present Mission

"David Versus Rachael"

Starbase 400

***** School - Hallway B *****

It was midmorning in between the first and second classes
of the day and Rachael Yamaguchi moved down the hallway as
she nagivated her way throught he traffic of over twelve
hundred students getting from their classes, to their lockers
and then to their next classes in less then five minuites,
needless to say the activity was hectic and downright crazy
at times.

She reached her locker but as she grasped the lock, she felt
something crash into her from behind, she gasped as she crashed
into the locker as she heard a voice in her ear. "I heard you
were skilled in martial arts... you don't scare me..." came the
voice of the school bully, one Boralus Niekanus who was a Bolian
boy, easily twice the size and three times the mass of Rachael
who wanted a piece of her simply because she was new, beautifull
looking and she was expertly trained in martial arts.

Rachael groaned softly as she pulled herself back to her feet.
"Thats because junior... you hit me in the back.."

With that he went to hit her again as she sidestepped his fist
as a loud metalic clang roared up and down the hallway,
announcing the fgight in progress to everyone within range so
all activity stopped as everyone gathered to see how this was
going to go down.

She had dropped into a classic fighting stance, left hand raised
with two fingers outstretched with her right hand mich closer to
her face.

He roared in pain, at her and at the crowd whgo had gathered as
he snarled something at her in a language the universal translator
deigned not worth of translating.

Rachael stood before him as she watched him carefully as time
seemed to slow down from her prespective as she moved towards him
as she swept asside his second swing as she lashed out with her
foot and leg, not at his face or upper body but rather at his
knee which jerked sideways with a sickening wet snapping sound,
with that he dropped to the deck as he shrieked in pain.

Rachael sighed softly as she looked around. "Fights over guys,
nothing more to see here.... bloodthirty pack of animals." she
muttered the last under her breathe as she reached down as she
grasped a fistfull of the other childs shirtfront as she heard
another person approch her from behind.

"Well Rachael, I see you're making yourself at home." a well known
voice announced as he commented.

"Anthony." she turned and gave her old friend a hug.

Anthoney Donos, the eldest son of Lieutenant James Donos and his
wife, one Ensign Heather Donos, both were assigned to the Starbase
itself so Anthoney could have some semblence of a normal life, she
knew him from her time on the USS America.

The Bolian growled as Anthony reached down as he grashed a fistfull
of the mans shirtfront. "You attacked my friend, be thankfull she
kicked your ass and not me.... I would not have stopped with a
simple beating." he commented evenly.

Rachael and Anthony then proceeded to haul the wounded Bolian off
to the nurses office before heading to their next class.
