“Chief, bring us close in behind the Sydneys, one kilometer. Pike, ready tractor beam and prepare to lock onto the closest one. Alex, lock weapons on the other two. All hands, standby to decloak.” K’Temoc looked at the sensor readings on his left display panel.

The Defiant class Yorktown eased into position…

K’Temoc took a breath, “Decloak the ship and lock on tractor beam.” He tapped the comm on his right panel, “Sydney class runabouts, this is Captain K’Temoc of the Federation Starship USS Yorktown. You’re order to power down and stand to. Unidentified vessel, you’re ordered to withdraw at once.”

K’Temoc paused a moment, it seemed like an hour.

“Captain,” O’Riely reported, “they are sending a feedback pulse back though the tractor beam!

“Remodulate the tractor beam, that should dispurse pulse.” K’Temoc replied.
