***** Commanding Officers Ready Room - USS Venator *****

Captain Torilla Yamaguchi as she was referred to on paper while
commanding a ship of the line, sighed as she looked over the
paperwork which seemed to always grow while she was away
on duty or eating or asleep in her bunk.

She smiled as she wondered if the PADD's were breeding while
she wasn't looking as she sat down at her desk, at the top of
the pile was a letter from one of her siblings, in this case it was
Daniel's wife, Julia.

She smiled as she read the PADD, it was chatty and she found
out she was going to be an aunt because Daniel was about to
have another child, her smile widened into a grin as she thought
'the next generation of Yamaguchi's are in good hands.'

She knew they were a few hours away from Deep Space Fourteen
as she checked in with the other dozen or so Captain's in her wing,
they were of good nature and cheerful despite answering to someone
who was inferior in rank to them.

She lifted her drink as she sipped it, then she went back to her
paperwork.
