Out of my comfort zone

In my five lifetimes, I have managed to get myself into some tricky and sometimes dangerous situations, but right now, this has to be the scariest situation I have found myself in.

If being in a situation surrounded by Borg vessels, the most dangerous adversary Starfleet has ever encountered, wasn't bad enough. I am pregnant as well.

Jax must be worrying himself silly back at Starbase 400, and there is pretty much nothing I can do. The Essex has recently been hit pretty hard by a shockwave. We were relatively fortunate, and our damage was not too bad. Albeit it took some effort to restore several key systems.

The USS Saratoga, on the other hand, is in a pretty bad way. She is haemorrhaging power, and the bridge is uninhabitable. Fortunately, Percy is on the case, and if anyone can help the Saratoga, it's Percy.

I am not going to lie or try to sugarcoat this, but for the first time in my Starfleet duty, I am actually terrified.
